Welcome to The Parlour!

Based in Durham, NC, we make incredible ice cream by hand using the best ingredients we can find, supporting local farmers and producers when possible. In addition to regular ice cream, we make sorbets and coconut-based vegan flavors. We make most of our own toppings, too! Our downtown location sells house made pastries and sodas, and select espresso drinks.

Now in Downtown Durham!

In 2011 and 2012, we scooped exclusively out of our modified mini school bus alongside some of the Triangle’s favorite food trucks. After two great seasons on the streets and a terrific Kickstarter campaign, we’ve opened our own shop at 117 Market St., right by the Bull statue in Downtown Durham! As of April 3, we’re open noon to 10, every day except Monday.

And beyond!

Our cute mini school bus is still on the road, appearing at Food Truck Rodeos, local businesses, and fun community events. You can check the schedule to find out where the bus will be, or contact us to suggest locations or book the bus for private catered events.

A few other businesses carry our products too!

• Bull Street Gourmet and Market on Shannon Rd. in South Durham carries pints and ice cream sandwiches.
• Market Street Coffee & Ice Cream scoops select flavors in some Carrboro and Chapel Hill locations
• And it’s not ice cream, but Cocoa Cinnamon carries some of our pastries and granola (some of which will also be available at our shop).
